As you walk along the beaches in the Catlins, New Zealand, you can encounter a variety of marine wildlife. Walking along Surat Bay we saw a couple of sea lions. They are so big when seeing them in person. These sea lions don't mind sharing the beach with people, although you are warned to keep a good distance from them. It was so great seeing and photographing them in their natural environment.
